What is up with some wrestling sites like rajah.com?

when i go to rajah.com or some other wrestling sites it switches over to a advertisement site and says this web site is brought to you by a certain advertiser then you have to click skip ad to go back to wrestling web site. this happens every time you click on anything on web site. very annoying. why does not my popup blocker not disable this? how can i disable this annoying ads that i am transfering to?
