Is is possible for a lender to pursue a foreclosure without the original deed?

Our home slipped into foreclosure in 2008. At first, the bank was gun ho on foreclosing and actually had 2 sales scheduled, both of which they dropped for some reasons. Then, they stopped trying to foreclosure shortly after we received a Motion stating that they could not produce the original mortgage note. Since 2009. its been back and forth with paperwork about different loan modification programs, none of which has worked as of yet. We are still "working on it with the lender". It just seems to us that when they couldn't produce the original deed, they sort of realized that their only hope in obtaiing any mortgage payments was to get a modification by their company in the works so they could have original mortgage paperwork for themselves. Makes sense to us - how about you? If they can't work a deal with us for the modification and they still can't produce the original deed, what will happen? my wife and i have a home that went into for closure. we almost have it out and now she wants a divorce. I told her if she wants the house she would have to refi in her name and that I didn't want any money for the house. in the next couple for months the lenders will decide if the Original mortgage will be re instated. I would like my name off and i don't want to sign any papers re instating the mortgage if it's not re fi ed in her name. can she make me pay for any back money for the house? Since I received the ticket, multiple lawyers have been sending me advertisements through the mail, citing that they saw I had received a traffic ticket through the court records. I know my traffic ticket is public information, but how do these lawyers get my address? Why is my sister acting so moody lately?

My 11 year old sister has always been sort of dramatic, and moody, but this summer, she has been acting more dramatic and moody then ever. Why not populate your site with (fake) ads from well-known companies to make it appear you were successful?

Help! having horrible back issues?

I threw my back out really bad during this snow storm at the begining of the year...i was out there for about two hours shoveling and i guess my back just had enough. I most likely picked up way to much and lifted the wrong way. I ended up falling to my knees in pain and couldn't get up for about ten minutes. After about a week of recovering i was back to normal but later on i kept having trouble lifting things...i basically haven't been able to lift heavy things for the past couple months. Now im to a point where im putting on pants or loading small things into the dishwasher and my back gets close to being thrown out...also all the pain is in my lower back and when i do throw it out my butt sort of goes numb and the pain sometimes shoots down my legs. Im only 21...heavy chested and i have a tummy but not big enough to the point my back is in this bad of shape. I managed to pick an awful doctor who wouldn't listen to what i had to say when i tried explaining and i will be getting a new doctor, but i was curious if anybody has the same problem or may know whats going on because its bad if i cant even get my pants on :(

House is 1.5 stories, 1900 sq ft - 400 of which are upstairs and we have an 8000 or 10000 btu air conditioner we bought a year ago that can cool that when we are upstairs. With the 1500 or less sq ft down stairs I am wondering which will be the better options as far as our electric bill goes. I mentioned two different options, two mid size units, or 1 big unit. The pros of the smaller units are they seem energy efficient and can run off 115 volts so i wouldn't have to change anything electrical, also they can give me more control (say i wanted a bedroom to be cooler at night, etc.) However my main concern is my energy bill. Will the larger unit be more energy efficient even though it has a lower EER number because it is running off 220v and everything is coming out of one location? Renting a house in foreclosure?

I was recently made aware, through a certified letter from the Bank that holds the mortgage, that the house I lease is in foreclosure. The Bank says to send payments to them. I did this month, and the Propety Manager called a week later and said that I was past due on my rent. I told him about the letter from the Bank, and that the letter gave the appearance that he was no longer affiliated with the property. He said to continue to send payments to him until which time the house was foreclosed on, which would terminate my lease, or his firm was terminated by the owner or by the pending foreclosure. In the meantime, a for sale sign appears in my front yard, and a realtor was in my house showing it to a potential buyer without my knowledge while I was away on vacation (I came home to find his business card on my table) AND they re-arranged my landscaping to take pictures to post on their website (the landscaping was put back, but I saw the pictures of the house on the realtors website showing that they had moved everything around). I am caught in the middle of a big mess. My question is this...when the bank forecloses (and I was told on the phone that they could not tell me whether the house was in foreclosure at this time, but could in 2 weeks), is my lease null as it is with a Property Management company and not the bank or the owner of the house directly? If the past 3 weeks are an example of what I can expect, I want out.

Should I buy a foreclosure?

My husband and I are looking to buy our first home. We currently live in Orange County, California which is very expensive. Houses in our city start at around 500K. We went to see a few open houses this weekend, and some streets had every other house with a for sale sign on it. Why do Noctilucent/Cirrus Clouds turn dark blue/black?

Today there was a thunderstorm where I lived in the day, I saw weird blue clouds weigh above the sky and a whole bunch of cirrus, all of a sudden both turn dark blue for a while and rain and pour, there is also orange/purple lightning, all of a sudden it stops and there is a heavy drought, it get really hot, at 4:00 I see the cirrus clouds turning black and noctilucent clouds (weird clouds) turning the darkest blue can go, then all of a sudden the sky turns black. My dad is meteorologist and he told me cirrus and noctilucent clouds turn black, I asked him why clouds turned black and he replied with "All clouds turn black not just a specific set of clouds all clouds turn black because they are blocking the suns light out and all forms of light, even at night there is no sun but the clouds block out light, it's not just sunlight they block out." I replied with "I think I understand." I then left. There is a severe storm where I live, it's down pouring and there is red/purple lightning and not only that it's dark out in the city in the part I live in.

I rented a house that is in forecloser what do I do?

So I found this amazing house and jumped through hoops to come up with the start up. Then I call the woman I had a rental agreement from and said I have the money let's make this happen. So she then calls my husband and I later that day and said she went by the house and the locks had been drilled out and a lock box was put on the front door. I was devastated! Now I don't trust my landlord, and in calling the loan company they say she is in foreclosure and stuff has been sent to a lawyer but no sale date has been set yet and it will probably take 3 to 4 months. But what do I do? If it was just my husband and I, it would be an easy decision but it's not we have 4 kids and I'm really torn even though my landlord can't keep her story straight.

Which do you prefer? I've only had Patron Silver and it was better than bottom shelf tequilas but not worth 2 1/2 times the price in my opinion. PPV revenue is also WWE's main revenue stream so it being badly down isnt being offset by the advertising and other stuff that comes from the company being PG. However one thing WWE has now which it didnt then was its basically a monopoly now.
