The house I am renting is about to go in foreclosure. The landlord stopped payments on it since April 2010?

He's been charging us rent every month even though he was pocketing the money. He did not intended to tell us nothing and we found out with a notice the court brought to us. Is that legal? What kind of lawyer do I seek to see if I can get some of my money back?
