Why is it that Yogurt advertisers on t.v.?

Most commercials on tv involve female actors. The reason? There may be several reasons. Weight-loss commercials, say, almost always have women actors because women seem more weight-conscious to the public eye. Another example is something like car commercials, which have women in them virtually only to instil sexual excitement in male viewers, because the more interest they have from their viewers, the more products they will sell. I have seen very few American yogurt commercials involving male actors. Perhaps because women are associated will health-food and men with "protein bars," or something.
