Do i have to file bankruptcy if my house is forclosed on.?

My ex-husband got the house in our divorce. a month later he abandoned the house and did not make any payments on it. The mortgage was in my name as well now the house is being forclosed on. do i have to file bankruptcy if i dont have any other dept or will it just dissolve with the foreclosure? in short do i have to file bankruptcy if my house is forclosed on or is it not necessary
