Investing in VA foreclosures?

I was wondering if there was anyone who could explain to me exactly how investing in a VA foreclosure works. I've been hearing about a lot lately and would just like to know more about it. I've also heard that in some cases you don't have to put any money down. Is that true? Any help would be appreciated.
