Could the reason so many accounts are suspended be that it creates the illusion that new users are joining?

Yahoo can tell potential advertisers that new users are joining YA every day, the more people that are forced to make new accounts the better it looks on paper. I wonder how this leaves them feeling in a spiritual sense at the end of the day?
