Im looking to become a internet advertiser... How do I get in the business?

Ive heard you can end up making good money I just dont know how to really get into the business.. another key is getting people to actually visit your site and be interested or whatever you have to do... thats my problem so im hoping people can help me and direct me the way i need so that i can accomplish these goals
